The St. Augustine Yellow Jackets continued their march towards Orlando and the state championships with a convincing 45-6 win over the Nease Panthers before 5,500 fans.
The Yellow Jackets (7-0) scored on four of their five first-half possessions to build a 24-6 lead. They scored on three of the seven plays they ran in the third quarter to make it a blowout. No meeting between these two schools had been decided by more than seven points since 2003.
Duane Brady and Markis Merrill led the way for St. Augustine. Nease fell to
2-5 on the season.
